Why should I earn Drips?

Earning Drips offers long-term benefits. At the end of the Drips period, wallets holding Drips will receive Syrup (SYRUP) tokens, solidifying your stake in the Syrup ecosystem. This distribution reinforces your involvement and support of the protocol, offering a tangible return on your participation.

How can I earn Drips within the app?

You can earn Drips by lending to the Syrup protocol. By supplying liquidity, you not only contribute to the platform’s health but also earn Drips. The process is straightforward: deposit your assets into the lending pools, and Drips will be credited to your account based on your participation.

How do I maximize my Drips?

To maximize your Drips, consider committing your deposits for longer durations. A 3-month commitment increases your Drips by 50%, while a 6-month commitment triples your Drips. This tiered reward system is designed to encourage sustained engagement and support for the protocol.

Can I transfer Drips to other users?

Drips are non-transferable and are earned and retained by the wallet that facilitated the lending activity. This ensures that the rewards are closely tied to individual participation and cannot be redistributed or shared.

Is there a maximum limit to the number of Drips I can accumulate?

There is no cap on the number of Drips you can accumulate. This open-ended system allows for continuous earning potential, encouraging ongoing participation in the protocol.

Are there any geographic restrictions on earning or using Drips?

The Syrup protocol, and consequently the Drips it generates, are not available in all regions. Be sure to consult our Terms & Conditions for a comprehensive list of supported jurisdictions. Syrup’s compliance framework ensures that if you are eligible to deposit, you are also eligible to receive all Drips rewards and SYRUP token distributions.

How frequently are Drips updated or credited to my account?

Drips are credited to your account every 24 hours. This regular update cycle ensures that active participants are consistently rewarded for their contributions to the protocol.

What happens to my Drips if I interact with the Smart Contract directly?

Drips are earned exclusively through interactions within the Syrup interface. Direct interactions with syrupUSDC outside this interface do not qualify for Drips. This approach ensures a fair and transparent distribution of rewards, maintaining the integrity of the incentive system.
